About Clementine cafe and bistro

Clementine opened its doors on March 23, 2024.

Hello! My name is Sinan Duran, founder, and proprietor of Clementine. I am a Hospitality Management and Culinary graduate with degrees from Turkey and France boasting over 35 years of professional experience internationally, having worked with 5-star hotel companies as well as luxury yacht charters.

I acquired the majority of my professional experience in Istanbul, Bahrain, Miami, Hong Kong, Astana, Dubai, St. Tropez, and Cannes, residing in each for 35 years before relocating to the UK in 2017. Each city has served as an incredible inspiration and sanctuary for my culinary journey.

Today, I find myself in the UK by pure serendipity, embarking on my second business venture entirely on my own, from restaurant consultancy to the role of my own boss. Start-ups inevitably come with challenges, but I maintain faith that hard work pays off, drawing from past experiences.

I find happiness in what I do, and I hold a deep love for it.
